Pre-Conference Workshop on OROBOROS High-Resolution Respirometry

We are excited to announce a Pre-Conference Workshop on OROBOROS High-Resolution Respirometry, as part of the 10^th Annual Conference of the Society for Mitochondrial Research and Medicine (SMRM). This hands-on workshop will introduce participants to the front-line techniques in mitochondrial research, with a focus on the OROBOROS Oxygraph-2k, a gold standard for high-resolution measurement of cellular respiration.

This workshop will be hosted by Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara (SDM) University, Dharwad.

Workshop Highlights:

• Comprehensive training on mitochondrial respiration analysis using the OROBOROS.
• Live demonstration and hands-on training on sample preparation, data acquisition, and analysis.
• Insights into studying mitochondrial function in health and disease, with applications in cancer, neurodegeneration, cardiovascular conditions, and more.
• Interactive discussions with experts on protocol optimization and troubleshooting.

This workshop is ideal for researchers, clinicians, and students interested in mitochondrial physiology, pathology, bioenergetics, and the application of respirometry in biomedical research.

Workshop Fee: ₹1500 (additional to the conference registration fee)
